Chaos meandered through the endless rows of grape vines, letting the gentle breeze and sweet scent of purple grapes guide her into the depths of the plants. Her eyes closed, the goddess walked graciously through the field as she recalled several occasions that she'd strolled through these very fields before, with her children, with a lover.
Her cheeks flushed and a ginger chuckle escaped her lips as the word came to mind - lover. How long had it been since she had one of those, she wondered? Chaos, still with hidden irises, walked through the aisle between two large trellises, each covered in pounds of bountiful grapevines. Only once did she open her eyes, and that was when her foot fell in a hole. She squealed as she fell, rolling so her arms wouldn't catch the brunt of her weight, even if it was only one-hundred and fifteen pounds.

Alexi was on one of the rare days he and his twin brother would have off protecting Mount Olympus. Meandering through the vineyards, he lost himself in the organized maze of row upon row of grapes used for the wine. It was a decent place to be lost in, but Alexi knew a few better. He was beginning to lose himself in his thoughts went he heard a squeal. Looking around Alexi saw one of the goddesses, Chaos was it?, fall. Being in the area, Alexi decided to head over and help her up.
"Let me help you up," he said, offering a hand.

Kay looked up at the younger god and smiled, taking his hand gladly. "Thank you," she said sincerely, flashing Alexi a bright smile. "I should have known better than to walk with my eyes closed, since I can't seem to take two steps without tripping or loosing my balance." She chuckled, her laughter light and airy, before dusting off her front and adjusting the short, frilly pink skirt she wore over her favourite pair of blue jeans. Her shirt was black, matching the dark shade of navy of her pants, with pink splatter art covering the entire piece of cloth.
"So, what brings you out to the vineyards .... Alexi?" she asked, a light blush filling her cheeks. "I do hope I'm not mixing your name with your brother's. I have a terrible time telling the two of you apart." Chaos kicked at the soft soil beneath her worn Oxford cut Converse shoes, the black fabric having long ago begun to fade. "My daughter says memory loss comes with age, but I severely disagree."

"Alexi, yes. We try to wear different clothing so others can tell us apart," he said. "Even our parents had a hard time telling us apart."
Alexi smiled at those memories. He and Ani would switch names and clothes on them and Hebe and Heracles would get all confused on who was exactly who before finally becoming frustrated and give them both punishment.
"And no, memory loss doesn't come with age. There have been times when even I have forgotten things."

Chaos chuckled softly, walking with the younger god down the aisle between the grape vines. "Well, I'm glad I got your name right," she replied softly, her deep black hair fluttering lightly in the breeze that washed over the vineyard. It was a particularly beautiful day, and she was happy to be able to spend it in good company.
"How is your brother? Not getting into too much trouble, I hope." Her smile was vibrant; almost sparkling, and a could light up even the dreariest of rooms. "I remember you two where quite a handful for Hebe when you were younger." Kay glanced down at the soft soil on which they walked, making sure she didn't catch anything else with her feet.

"He's fine. Though we usually don't get into trouble on our own."
Alexi can remember when he and Ani would get into so much trouble, they would have a hard time getting out of it. Though they were able to get out of it most of the time because the one that caught them would have eventually got fed up with the twins and left them without punishment.
"Of course, that's when we were younger. We don't get into as much trouble now. And what of you, Chaos? What troubles you?"

The ancient goddess smiled over at Alexi before once again shifting her gaze to her Converse-clad feet. "Nothing that can be changed," she replied softly, her voice almost pained to admit such facts. "But I won't bother you with that; we could be here for days, and I'm sure a young man like yourself doesn't want to be kept up by me." Her laugh was like a string of pearls as it flowed from her lips.
Indeed, even she could not change the past, or the mistakes she had made within it. Kay sighed and sneaked a sideways glance at the younger god walking with her. Hopefully, her mistakes would prove to be bettering for his generation, and the generations after him.
A thought entered dear Chaos' mind as a silence fell over the two immortals, and she checked her watch, disappointed that time had flown by her so quickly. "Fortunately, you won't be kept much longer," she mumbled, glancing over at Alexiares with a sympathetic grin. "Gaia's dragging me to lunch. However, you, as well as your brother, are more than welcome to pop in at my palace sometime. I just had a new track installed in the back, and I'm aching for someone to race."
Again with her sparkling smile. "I'll see you later, Alexi." With that, Chaos ran down the rest of the aisle and took a sharp left, tripping only once as she turned. She was pleased to only have to run a few feet to reach the driver door of her Challenger. The gleaming green paint with intricate ivies flowing down the body accented that model particularly well, as she had thought it would when she ordered the custom design.
Easily, Chaos climbed in and started the engine, the purr of the 8-pistons music to the eternally young woman. The gears shifted into drive with lubricated ease, and her foot fell near the floor as she punched the accelerator and sped off parallel to the vineyard.

"I don't mind listening," Alexi said. "Even if it is for a little while." Yet it was not to be so, as Chaos said she was meeting Gaia for lunch. But she did say something about a new track at her palace, so maybe coming to the vineyard wasn't all that bad of an idea. Alexi nodded his goodbye to Kay as she ran off, tripping once, and made his way through the row. When he heard the roar of the Challenger, Alexi decided to see if he could not locate his brother and tempt him with the track.
