Hera crossed her long legs as she sat at her husband's favourite cafe. It was a cute little place the smell inside of deffused coffee and croistants. Hera never used to smoke until her husband began his affairs... she actually considered the habit quite dirty but it calmed her down. She wasn't a pills person so Prozac wouldn't help her. Taking the final puff she pushed the cigarette butt dead into the ash tray and picked her cup of coffee up, gently sipping some. As always it was delicious, this cafe perfectly knew what she like. "Bonjour..." she smiled at the baker who grinned shyly and disappeared in the kitchen.

Demeter had been one of those many affairs that Zeus had over the years. An affair ... one night stand really ... okay lets be serious it wasn't as if she begged him to her bed! ... that ended with a beautiful daughter. It was something she was never really sure if her sister blamed her or what.
Appearing in an empty alley way next to the quaint cafe she walked inside, rich brown hair flowing in an breeze that only seemed be around her. Just as she noticed her sister she smiled and quickly told the host that she was here to see her sister.
Quickly, the short woman made her way over to Hera's table to tap on her shoulder. "Hi there sis."

That morning was different than the rest. It was the morning after Dionysus' passionate confessions and the aftermath of that. It was the morning when memories became bittersweet and the guilt began to gently strangle it's victim. But soon the minute she heard Demetre's voice any regret and guilt was gone. Instead came the dreadful memories of when Hera discovered her sister had bedded her husband and they conceived a child. Being a respected Queen she preffered to ignore the matter untill she was well hidden in the depths of her palace. There she poured out her heart to Hestia and cried all night. Zeus ignored the situation as well which was difficult enough,
Turning around she smiled the perfectly fake Hera smile which she was infamous for,"Hello there sister. Care to join me for coffee?" she said politely.

She knew that fake smile all to well, she had seen her sister use to many times on those who’ve displeased her. Demeter’s own smile fell a bit, it was useless no matter what she did she never seemed to get her beloved sister to forgive her for one little mistake. A mistake that was a combination of being feed to much wine and being charmed into bed by Olympus’ head Don Juan. Years later, her personal opinion about her little brother change drastically from adoring and affection to secretly wishing that Hera would just reel back and bitchslap the teeth out of the cheat for once in his pathetic existence.
Forcing her cheery smile back on her face she sat down across from her sister, her long skirts still floating in the air by an invisible breeze. “I would absolutely love coffee! Chaos knows I’ll need it with the busy day I have booked today with everyone wishing for healthy bountiful crops.” As soon as she was in her seat a waiter rushed over to her ready to take her order. Placing her order of espresso and a chocolate muffin she turned her attention back to her sister. Once she was alone she leaned over to her sister and sighed a sad look replacing her happy one, “Please don’t act fake toward me, Sis.”

Hera ordered a chicken salad sandwich and another cup of cappuccino. Smoothing her dress down her leg she watched Demeter with dignity. No matter how hard she convinced herself that her sister was sorry and that all that had happened was far in the past, she could never look in Demeter's eyes like before.
"Do not be silly, it's all behind us." she mumbled sipping the fresh cup of cappucino the waiter brought her. Hera was a brilliant liar and compeletly unwilling to carry on discussing her feelings about the affair.

Demeter wanted to smart back, but said nothing when her espresso was brought to her. Quietly she sipped at the piping hot liquid before nibbling on her lower lip. Her face, emotionless as she looked down at the coffee cup in her hands. She knew her sister was lying but said nothing, it wasn’t her place. It was never her place, not since the one night stand.
“It wasn’t my choice, Hera, it’s never been … and if it had it wouldn’t have happened.” she finally whispered lowly as she brought her cup back up to her lips to sip at it.

"Can we not?" Hera asked calmly but sternly,"Why whenever we meet you have to bring up the subject of you sleeping with my husband?" Hera asked. "I don't care whose fault it was... for me it was enough." she explained sipping her coffee.
