History:
Persephone, the only daughter of Zues and Demeter, was born goddess of innocence. That she was, for so many years, until womanhood began to fill out her curves, and it was only natural that every god, including Hades, notice these changes in the already beautiful girl. At the mere age of sixteen, however, these changes had marked her destiny.
One day, while gathering flowers with her nymph friends, Hades rose from a crevas in the hills and snatched her away. For days, he rmother searched but with no success. Hades had gotten permission to take dear Persephone as his own, and how the younger goddess despised him for it. After ignorantly eating a pomagranite, much to Hades' pleasure, Perse was allowed to go up to he rmother, but then was 'gifted' with the knowledge that she was not granted a life eternally upon the surface. So, after severely heated negotiations between she, Hades, Zues, and Demeter, it was agreed that she was allowed up to visit her mother for almost half of hte year, but was required to stay in the Underworld, seeing to her queenly duties for the remainder of the year.

Persephone stood near the bay windows in the piano room of her massive marble palace, almost sad eyes gazing out onto the plentiful gardens she grew near her home. How she missed her mother, but still felt ... at ease in the Underworld. With the lull in deaths among Greeks, she had very little to do, and was, quite frankly, bored. Hades had gone up to attend the usual meeting of the gods, but he was usually a last resort for entertainment.
With a sigh, the goddess gracefully moved to her large library to find a tome she had not read more than once, which was a difficult feat, since she didn't update her collection as often as she wanted. Of course, she could send a nymph out to do her shopping, but very rarely did they ever come back with the right books, if any at all. Finally, after a long few moments of searching, Perse found a large volume of poetry, with several sister books, that she had only once discovered before, and had neglected to read it then. Grinning, she took tho book to a soft, over-stuffed chair and cracked the cover, her eyes eagerly scanning over the first few lines, taking in the new poetry almost hungrily.
